Client

I just got your email, and I have to say I'm pretty concerned about this delay.

Account Manager

I completely understand, and I'm really sorry we didn't catch this sooner.

Client

We were counting on that launch date for our own marketing campaign, you know.

Account Manager

I know, and that's exactly why we wanted to flag it as soon as possible.

Client

Okay, but what actually caused this? It seemed like everything was on track last week.

Account Manager

Honestly, our developer ran into a technical issue that took longer to fix than expected.

Client

Seriously? That's frustrating, especially since we already told our team the new date.

Account Manager

I get that, and we should have communicated the risk earlier, so that's on us.

Client

Alright, at least you're being upfront about it instead of making excuses.

Account Manager

We're bringing in an extra developer this week to speed things up as much as possible.

Client

That helps, but can you give me a realistic new deadline this time?

Account Manager

We're confident we can deliver everything by next Friday, and I'll update you daily.

Client

Fine, but if it slips again, we'll need to talk about compensation.

Account Manager

That's completely fair, and I'll make sure this stays our top priority going forward.
