Presenter
So I've cut the deck down to twelve slides, just the essentials.
Manager
Twelve? Wait, really? Last week it was almost thirty.
Presenter
I know, right? I trimmed the background research and focused on the numbers.
Manager
Good call, because the client only cares about the bottom line anyway.
Presenter
Exactly, so I moved the budget breakdown up to slide three.
Manager
Hmm, I'm not sure that works before you've explained the problem.
Presenter
Fair point, maybe I should swap slides two and three around.
Manager
Yeah, lead with the pain point, then hit them with the savings.
Presenter
Got it, I'll also add a chart since the numbers alone feel dry.
Manager
A chart would definitely make the data easier to digest quickly.
Presenter
One more thing, should I mention the delayed timeline at all?
Manager
Better to address it upfront than have them ask awkward questions later.
Presenter
Okay, I'll add a slide explaining the delay and our backup plan.
Manager
Perfect, send me the updated version tonight so I can review it.
